About Us
Less friction. More life together.
You love your pets. You also moved the water bowl three times this week because she kept tipping it over.
That is not a story about love running out. It is a story about friction.
Most pet products are designed to be sold, not to be lived with. They work well enough on the first day, and then they quietly start asking things of you. Move it somewhere less visible. Wipe underneath it. Pick it up. Turn it down. Work around it. None of these is a large request. That is the problem — each one is small enough that you never think to blame the product. You blame yourself, or you blame the pet, or you simply stop noticing and get on with a life that is slightly more annoying than it needed to be.
We think that is backwards.

Friction is not caused by love. It is caused by things that were never designed for living together.
Your home should not have to be rearranged around a pet. And your pet should not have to work around rules it never agreed to. Those two ideas sound like a compromise, but they are not — together they are the entire point. Living well with an animal is not about who gives up more. It is about removing the reasons anyone has to give up anything at all.
That belief is the only brief we give ourselves.
Every product starts with one question: which friction does this remove?
Not what does it do. Not which features does it have. Which specific, nameable moment of friction disappears because this object exists?
A litter box you do not have to hide. A fountain you never lie awake wondering about. A bed whose cover comes off in one motion, because the washing machine should not be a puzzle. If we cannot answer that question in a single, plain sentence — no adjectives, no hedging — the product does not reach the shelf. We have killed products we liked, at margins we wanted, because they could not clear that bar.
So on every product page you will find a section called The friction it removes. It names exactly one thing. Not three. Not a list of benefits. One friction, stated plainly, and the reason it no longer exists.

We will also tell you what we gave up
Every design is a trade. A quieter fountain means no pump, which means a softer flow — and it will not suit a bedroom. A lower entry is easier for an older cat and harder to move without spilling. We would rather name those trades than pretend they are not there. A product that is right for everyone is usually right for no one, and you deserve to know which side of the trade you are standing on before you buy.
We do not promise to make your pet happier, or your home more beautiful, or your mornings effortless. We promise something narrower and more useful: fewer small compromises between you and the animal you live with.
Less friction. More life together.
